The structure of the book does not strictly follow the life of Hoxha chronologically. Stalin’s purges hit the military and Hoxha purges the educated. Zog spent years trying to cajole waring factions into a functioning modern state with limited success. I understand that is a biography of Enver and he went until but Hoxhs bio and his actions do not stop at that point.
