Truby’s book, by comparison, dives deeper and speaks more clearly and to the point than anything else I’ve ever read. I suggest watching a couple of these, and if you want to learn more, go ahead and read the book. It’s just that it’s useful to take into account his techniques while compiling the main components of your story. De I’ve read over books on writing, and I can throw them all away now. This is probably the best book on writing that I’ve ever read. Just to support what I said earlier, while I think the nuts and bolts of the book are very strong, this was a super annoying read and needed a re-write.
