It broke our perception of a rich, spoilt royal family, and humanized them into a normal family that loved and accepted each other with all their flaws and imperfections.


I have been a fan of Princess Sultana’s stories for a while now, and was syltana excited to see a new book was out. The writing is quite easy to follow. However Sultana as the spirited woman has showed one thing that things can also be changed with determination.

It looks like it was rushed to publish. Princess ‘Sultana’, a real Saudi princess closely related to the King, lives those contradict Think of Saudi Arabia and what do you see?

I found the treatment of women, as luvro in this book, appalling. However, it is difficult to justify a religion that generally has created great inequalities, not to mention human rights violations.

What exactly was the point of that? This is a fabulous read for those who enjoy reading about the challenges of life, or wish to find out more about the oppression of women in the archaic, religiously controlled, Middle Eastern countries.

It has totally corrupted their society in only 50 or so years. The book follows Sultana from childhood, through her veiling, to marriage, the birth of her children, and the invasion of Kuwait by Iraq.
